Millions of companion animals are euthanized every year in the U.S. simply because there aren't enough homes for them all. American taxpayers spend millions of dollars collectively to round up, house, and care for homeless animals. This scenario will only continue until we understand and demonstrate the importance of spaying and neutering our pets.
If your pets aren't fixed, please do so! There are many health benefits to spaying and neutering in addition to helping control the pet overpopulation crisis. If your pets are already altered, help a family member, friend or neighbor get their pets altered. It's the only way to stop the senseless euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals.
We need to rebuild our spay/neuter fund in order to help more families with spay/neuter expenses for their dogs. Every donation helps: simply visit our "How you can help" page to contribute via Paypal. You can also send a check to the address on our "Contact us" page earmarked for spay/neuter assistance.
Need financial assistance to get your dog fixed? We may be able to help. If you are located in or around Blair County, contact us for details.
