Option C: Is your dog a pit bull? Sign up for Fix-A-Bull!

Pet overpopulation is Fix-A-Bull

The Fix-A-Bull Program has allowed 90 local pit bulls to be fixed to date.

The Fix-A-Bull Program was started on February 1, 2012 thanks to grant funds provided to us by Pit Bull Rescue Central. Since those grant funds ran out, we've kept the Fix-A-Bull Program operating with private donations (subject to availability). Sign up a pit bull for spay/neuter and pay only $25 (includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccine and nail trim). Surgeries done at the Allegheny Spay/Neuter Clinic in Woodland (11 miles north of Philipsburg). We can provide transportation on one of our Spay/Neuter Days for an additional $10.

To sign up, we need the following information about you/your dog (please feel free to complete the online form below and we will contact you with more details). The $25 is collected at the time of sign up (payment made either the "pay now" button above or by check/money order to HPHH, P.O.Box 22, Tyrone 16686). All spay/neuter costs are non-refundable (reschedules happen in the form of a credit toward another date/voucher).

According to current trend, at least 3 million companion animals will be euthanized in American shelters during this year.
Countless others will suffer abuse and neglect at the hands of their "owners."

By spaying and neutering just one animal, you can prevent the birth of hundreds of other companion animals, improve the overall health, behavior and longevity of your pet, and help us work toward a time when every pet in this country has a good home.

CONSIDER THIS:

There are 45 cats and dogs for every person born.
Only 1 out of 10 dogs born ever get a home.

Only 1 out of 12 cats born ever find a home.
800 dogs & cats are KILLED each HOUR in the U.S, because there are not enough homes for them.
